Following the decision of the Policy Committee of the 17th International Seminar on Polymer Science and Technology, the seminar’s format has been reviewed and announced. In light of the importance of face-to-face interactions in advancing scientific quality, and with the aim of facilitating the participation of international researchers, we hereby announce that the seminar will be held in a hybrid (in-person/virtual) format. Accordingly, the presentation protocols have been established as follows:
Following numerous requests from researchers and with the aim of providing sufficient time to complete and enhance the quality of academic works, we hereby announce that the deadline for submitting Extended Abstracts for the 17th International Seminar on Polymer Science and Technology (ISPST 2026) has been extended until September 30, 2026.
high-quality papers presented at ISPST 2026 may be recommended for consideration in a Special Issue of Progress in Color, Colorants and Coatings (PCCC). Recommended manuscripts will undergo the journal’s standard editorial assessment and peer-review process, and final publication decisions will be made independently by the journal’s Editorial Board.
To strengthen university–industry collaboration and support applied research, a special award will be presented to outstanding papers selected by industry representatives. The evaluation will focus on the relevance of the research to real industrial needs, its practical applicability, and its potential to address industry challenges.
high-quality papers presented at ISPST 2026 will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in the Iranian Polymer Journal (IPJ). Selected papers will be recommended for further evaluation following the scientific review process of the conference.
The 17th International Seminar on Polymer Science and Technology, ISPST 2026, will be held virtually in November 2026, providing a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration among researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals in the field of polymer science and technology.
The 17th International Seminar on Polymer Science and Technology, ISPST 2026, will highlight three special topics alongside its main scientific themes: Artificial Intelligence Applications in Polymers, Circular Economy in Polymers, and Advanced Polymers with High Added Value.
